Asia: Hi everyone, I’m back at the sky box and I tell you!!! Its so hard to run up here in heels and a gown after judging each category! I’m here for a post-category recap with each candidates walk in slo-mo here on our plasma screen. I’m also here with the other two judges Chenes Chu and Kendy Mae.

Chenes: Hi Ace, thanks for having us here with you.

Kendy: It’s definitely better up here than the parking lot I was sent to after the evening gown category.

Asia: So lets recap starting with the biggest faux pas of the night…

Kendy: (with hands up in the air like Mariah Carey hitting a high note) DEFINITELY Miss Trinidad and Tobago!!! I cannot believe her assistant DID NOT SECURE the double sided tape on her bikini top! She should fire him!

Chenes: (a little buzzed from her champagne) I thought Venezuela tripping on her wrap was the biggest flub of this competition…

Asia: BUT she picked herself up well from that nasty fall on the little fire eating African kid in the middle of the runway…

Chenes: Touche’… Touche’… did the kid finish eating the fire?

Kendy: Yeah… it was hot.

MISS UNIBARSE BIDS FAREWELL to MALAYSIA'S FINEST BEAUTY

Born of Philippine and Malaysian parents, MALAYSIA originally tried out to be the representative for the PHILIPINES. But due to the strict residency requirements required for any Philippine delegate in any international pageant she was forced to join Miss Malaysia Unibarse instead. MALAYSIA makes the semi-finals for the very first time. Last year's Malaysian representative did not place during her year of competition. Miss Malaysia plans to go back to Kuala Lumpur to study the history of polka dots where she plans to use her knowledge and expertise to educate those who want to know the history of this fascinating shape.

INDIA continues to keep the winning streak going with another TOP 25 (Semi-Finalist) finish at this year's MISS UNIBARSE pageant. India's pride and joy leaves the competition after the headshot challenge where the delegates were put to the test to evoke the look and feel of 'serenity'.

INDIA is a power house in major international beauty pageants in 'another' world and based from their recent performance, INDIA is also set to conquer the world of MISS UNIBARSE .

JAMAICA HAS 'NO PROBLEM' BEING ELIMINATED

JAMAICA leaves the MIS SUNIBARSE competition with 'no problem'. "This has been by far the most exciting 2 months in my life. I came here not expecting to win and to be one of the TOP 25 is a complete surprise!" "I am ecstattic to have had the opportunity to show the world what us Jamaicans can offer."

JAMAICA finished 5th in the swimsuit preliminary competition so it was no surprise to see her in the TOP 25. This is JAMAICA's 2nd time to participate at MISS UNIBARSE.

JAMAICA dreams to someday own the franchise for Miss Jamaica Unibarse and open up a street vending cart where she can sell fresh fruits from their fruit plantation.

CURACAO'S QUEST for a BACK COVER GIRL CONTRACT ENDS ABRUPTLY

Who knew that a tiny island nation could produce one of the most beloved doe-eyed beauty in MISS UNIBARSE history?

This is CURACAO's first time to enter the TOP 25 (Semi-Finals) at MISS UNIBARSE. CURACAO was not one of the favorites to win but instantly earned the respect of the preliminary judges when she walked out during the evening gown competition where she placed 2nd overall.

CURACAO's future goal and project is to open a tattoo shop in her island nation.

RUSSIA RETURNS to RUSSIA with LOVE and PLENTY of MEMORIES

The road ends here for our Russian princess as she becomes one of the latest delegates to have earned the lowest composite score resulting to her recent elimination.

Russia's first attempt at MISS UNIBARSE has been a very successful attempt. Our Russian princess entered the Top 25 with ease as she glided her way through 4 of the toughest preliminary competition in Miss Unibarse's 2 year history.

With her stunning blue eyes and platinum blond hair, RUSSIA is one of this year's most unforgetable delegates. RUSSIA plans to go back to Moscow to pursue a career in wrestling.

SKY BOX COMMENTARY at MISS UNIBARSE 2006

Asia: I’m here in the sky box with our reigning Miss Unibarse, Kuprek. (says hello to Asia). So now that we are nearing the top 5, what do you think the candidates are feeling right now?

Kuprek: I remember being there and feeling very ektagung… ecstatic. It’s amazing how a year of training and meetings and a lot of meditation could lead a girl to a moment like that. It is truly incomprehensible.

Asia: I find it interesting that last year there were a lot of black girls in the top 10 and this year it seems like it’s the orientals that are taking reign… what do you think about that?

Kuprek: That is an interesting observation but I wouldn’t call them black girls, I would call them melanin-infused beings and the orientals, well… I would call them the “rice-girls”… JUST KIDDING! I like rice. Wow… that Jack and cock… I mean Coke is really hitting me now…

Asia: I wish I could have some Jack and…

ARGENTINA'S QUEST for the MISS UNIBARSE TITLE GETS "TANGO"-LED

ARGENTINA, the land of tango's first entry to MISS UNIBARSE had a sweet but very short run.

ARGENTINA first grabbed the attention of the world when she stepped out on stage with herbeautifully crafted and exquisite red petal rose head piece and ensemble. ARGENTINA won (2nd) place during the costume competition locking her spot into the Top 25.

With her expressive green eyes and bright, wavy, red hair this Argentine beauty will surely be missed during the competition.

DARK HORSE BET from FRANCE BIDS AU REVOIR!

FRANCE was never the favorite by the press nor the world wide community. She was actually considered to be 'bland' by most beauty aficionado's standards.

It wasn't until she stepped onto that preliminary stage during the evening gown competition that the whole world started to notice this natural beauty. By the end of the night, she was labeled the 'dark horse', the 'spoiler' for the heavy favorites. FRANCE finished (8th) during the evening gown competition garneing enough points to move her into the semi-finals. Last year's delegate stunned the audience with her fashion forward, lilac ball gown.

FAST TRACK WINNER and MISS PHOTOGENIC LEAVES NAMIBIA

FAST TRACK and MISS PHOTOGENIC winner for MISS UNIBARSE 2006 leaves Namibia teary eyed as she was voted off by the judges during last night's 'Serenity' competition.

HONDURAS became one of the early favorites for the crown when she was elected MISS PHOTOGENIC by the preliminary judges. With her bubbly and cute-sy persona, HONDURAS became an instant favorite.

This is HONDURAS' 2nd year in MISS UNIBARSE. Last year's delegate failed to make it into the semi-finals but managed to be in the Top 10 of that year's costume competition.

A FIERCE COMPETITOR EXITS PRE-MATURELY at MISS UNIBARSE

SOUTH AFRICA sent one of their most competitive delegates to date at MISS UNIBARSE. Equipped with a beautiful face and wardrobe to die for, SOUTH AFRICA was one of the 'GIRL' to beat!

SOUTH AFRICA created such a stir during the preliminary headshot competition due to her sudden'collapse' on set. That incident brought a much needed publicity for SOUTH AFRICA.

This is the first year SRI LANKA joins MISS UNIBARSE and instantly they made it into the semi-finals during a very competitive year. A few weeks back, SRI LANKA made another commotion at the parade of nations where her blue turquoise 'turkey' inspired sari won 4th place during the national costume competition. SRI LANKA is truly a land of exotic and enchanting women.

The "PEOPLE'S CHOICE: MISS UNIBARSE" competition is now close! This is a first in MISS UNIBARSE history as the top 5 delegates who recieved the most votes are all from ISLAND nations!

INDONESIA continues to the dominate the polls to cinch the top spot during the first round of competition followed by PUERTO RICO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, JAPAN and TRINIDAD and TOBAGO.

Don't forget the internet votes count as the '16th' judge for MISS UNIBARSE 2006. So, if your favorites didn't make the top 5 this time around, there's more voting opportunities to come within the next few days as the we take a step closer to finding out who will be the new MISS UNIBARSE 2006!

FINAL JUDGE WALKS OUT OF COMPETITION...ANYONE WANT TO TAKE HIS SPOT?

Miss Unibarse Organization would like to apologize to one of the Preliminary Judges, Mr Alfredo Palma Y Terrado III. His profile and photo were incorrectly posted on our website and was not immediately revised because of some unavoidable circumstances*.

Linda Sinammon of the Sinammon Girls Modeling Agency (SIGMA) who also acts as the executive assistant to the Devil who wears Prada sent us a letter yesterday - written in a pink scented stationary – requesting the resignation of Mr. Terrado as a Preliminary Judge and threaten to sue the Miss Unibarse Organization should we fail to delete all his information including the unflattering picture posted on our website. The SIGMA Modeling Agency maintains its prestige as the most exclusive modeling agency in North America and the picture of Mr. Terrado used illegally and without authorization is a disgrace for the agency.

Still limping and groggy, the poor web editor has to change Mr. Terrado's profile immediately and act upon Mr. Alfred's request for a "Mila's Lechon" (roast pig) as compensation for the punitive and emotional damage it has brought to him.Mr. Terrado is an accomplished actor, he co-starred in film such as "Arayku" (Very Ouch!), "Daig ng Maagap ang Masipag" (The Microwave), and "Homeless Bitch". He is also an accomplished singer and stand up comedian. Just recently, he signed an exclusive contract with SIGMA Modeling Agency and has been the most booked model both in ramp and print ads for the years 2005 and 2006.

Mr. Terrado will soon star in a TV Reality Show which will air soon and will remain unnamed due to very confidential reasons. Be sure to watch for him in LOGO channel, please check your local cable listing if available.Mr. Terrado is the face of Palm Springs. He recently released a set of print ads for the Tourism Department of Palm Springs, California. The ad is called "Cold Shower Under the Palm Spring Sun". See pic.

ROAD to MISS UNIBARSE 2006 KICKS OFF with a 'NOSTALGIC' TOUCH and the 'F&G' EDGE

The creative team of F&G kicks off the first of five rounds for MISS UNIBARSE 2006 with a headshot competition that combines a 'nostalgic' feel with a definite creative edge! This year's finalists were challenged by the photographer and creative director, to evoke and capture the feeling and look of complete 'serenity' and 'ethereal' beauty. They wanted to challenge the delegates and push them to their limits to ensure that this year's winner will be capable of handling a year long contract endorsing numerous beauty and clothing lines from all around the world!

"VENEZUELA surprised us!" commented G of F&G, "She sparkled on set and nailed the challenge...she usually photographs well in color but in b&w she is stunning!" "SRI LANKA on the other hand, was a bit disappointing, she was more concern about how she looked rather than focusing her thoughts at the task at hand." "Overall, I think the delegates rose to the challenge and the judges will have a difficult task ahead of them."

OFFICIAL OVERALL WINNER for "PEOPLE'S CHOICE: MISS UNIBARSE 2006": MISS INDONESIA UNIBARSE

INDONESIA wins the last 'FAST TRACK' spot at this year's MISS UNIBARSE competition by garnering the most votes from the world wide web community. Voting polls were open throughout the month of May and INDONESIA recieved a staggering 25% of the people's votes!
Congratulations Puteri INDONESIA Unibarse for making it to the semi-finals!

PHILLIPPINES, who competed strongly throughout the month finished (2nd) with 15% of the people's vote while PUERTO RICO, finished (3rd) with 10% of all the votes.

OFFICIAL WINNER for BEST NATIONAL COSTUME: MISS TRINIDAD and TOBAGO UNIBARSE

From the land that invented the 'CARNAVAL' TRINIDAD and TOBAGO comes an 'oceanic fantasy' costume that combines the fun-loving nature of the Carribean people and the whimsical movement of the ocean waves! Congratulations TRINIDAD and TOBAGO for winning the 'BEST NATIONAL COSTUME' award at MISS UNIBARSE 2006.

The land of 'tango', ARGENTINA won (2nd) place with her red and black rose costume. THAILAND, who is competing really strong, finished (3rd) with her 'orchid' and 'temple' inspired silk costume. SRI LANKA represented and placed (4th) with her beautiful turquoise, silk sari while TURKEY grabbed the (5th) spot with a very colorful and festive ethnic ensemble.

COLOMBIA the 'People's Choice' winner for 'Best National Costume' ranked (32nd) overall . Last year's winner for 'Best National Costume', MEXICO placed (19th) during this year's competition.

OFFICIAL FAST TRACK WINNER for BEST in SWIMSUIT: MISS ZIMBABWE UNIBARSE

ZIMBABWE shoots all the way to the top of the score boards with the judges landing her a spot in the TOP 25! It is no surprise to see Zimbabwe win the top honors during the swimsuit competition due to her towering height, dusky, morena skin, deadly curves, radiant smile and her fresh new look. Zimbabwe is also no stranger to MISS UNIBARSE success, this is the 2nd year ZIMBABWE competed at Miss Unibarse and both of their delegates made the cut 2 years in a running! Can Miss Zimbabwe take it all the way to the top or will the Asian bombshells from KOREA and THAILAND, who finished (2nd) and (3rd) respectively edge her out during the next round of competition? Will another African delegate from SOUTH AFRICA (4th) or an island girl from JAMAICA (5th) win top honors 2nd time around?

OFFICIAL FAST TRACK WINNER for MISS PHOTOGENIC 2006: MISS HONDURAS UNIBARSE

Congratulations MISS HONDURAS for winning the official MISS PHOTOGENIC award for 2006! Miss Honduras scored the highest of all the delegates during the HEADSHOT competition securing her a spot at the SEMI-FINALS. This is the first time MISS HONDURAS enters the semi-finals. Last year's delegate earned honors during the National Costume competition in China. In 2nd place is the exotic dark haired delegate from PUERTO RICO followed by the statuesque beauty from the 'Kingdom of Smiles' THAILAND (3rd), the fiery red-head goddess COSTA RICA finished (4th) and the enchanting beauty from the DOMINCAN REPUBLIC placed (5th).

Rounding off the top 10 are the delegates from:
CHINA (6th), GREECE (7th), TRINIDAD and TOBAGO (8th), CHILE (9th) SOUTH AFRICA (10th).
